General KA Code of Conduct
Must stay up to date with KA activities - If you do not visit the site on a
regular basis to see what is going on, then you will not be allowed to participate
in competitions with KA. It is imperative that people stay in contact with officers
so that the officers can schedule things accordingly.
Must answer messages - If there is a message asking for your input, you need
to respond, even if the answer is ``don`t care``. Without that, we can not move into
competitions and make an impact. The officers will not guess at your status, and
will assume the worst case scenario.
Must meet commitments - If you say you are going to play, you must be there.
We realize that gaming takes a back seat to real life. But, if you are supposed to
be in a match or practice, and you are seen online, expect to be warned / removed
from the team.
Portraying Killing Authority - If the tag is on your name, like it or not,
people will associate your actions with the clan. Therefore, if the tags are on,
you are expected to hold yourself in good public opinion. You should never start
arguments nor partake in them in lobbies or websites. You are expected NEVER to
glitch, regardless of the situation.
ABSOLUTELY NO GLITCHING - We realize that during the initial stages
of playing a game, the glitchy spots may not be known. But as these spots are
recognized or pointed out, under no circumstances, is any form of glitching permitted!
There is no warning for glitching, there is only suspension or expulsion. Let me
repeat.....ABSOLUTELY NO GLITCHING!!
There is no bitching or pissing or moaning - This disrupts the flow of the team.
It makes playing with people unbearable. If you start, you will be warned by the team
lead / disciplinary board. If you persist, you will be removed from the match /
practice. This will also be brought to the attention of the appropriate clan officer.
Match Conduct
You have your role / position / assignment - Follow it! - Our success depends
on the team acting like a team. If you are out of position, you are jeopardizing the
match. If you can not accept your role, then you will be asked to leave the
competition squad.
Need to be on before the match start time - We will use this time, approximately
30-45 minutes before the match, to rehash the strategy for the maps. It is essential
that people be on board with the overall strategy of the match. If you can`t be on to
be sure, then you will not be allowed in the match.
Lobby conduct will be monitored - Do not insult, raise your voice, or engage in
conduct that your mother would not be proud of. Joking around and busting balls is
fine, but when there is an issue, the team leader or match leader will be the one to
handle it. You are not to engage in anything with the opposing team or our members.
Game conduct will be monitored - In our rooms, goofing around, or even in public
rooms, anything goes. In any kind of competition, there will be no tea bagging, shooting
dead bodies, etc.
Practice Conduct
Practices are mandatory - If you don`t practice with the team, how can you expect
to play with the team. Practices are structured in a way to discuss tactics and to play
together to develop a cohesive team. Practices are not that long, so bite the bullet
and show up.
There is no bitching or pissing or moaning - We will get to playing soon enough.
If you sign up for a team, be prepared to be in practice. A good portion of our practices
will be tactics. Although out team is centered around fun, winning makes things more
fun.
If you aren`t there to work, then you will be asked to leave, practice rooms will be closed
and invite only - Don`t waste our time if you aren`t going to pay attention. Tactics
sessions will be centered around roles and responsibilities. If you don`t know your
responsibility or your position`s responsibility, then you are not going to help the
team in competition!
Practice Structure - Practices will be broken down into 2 parts. Tactics sessions
will last approximately 20 to 30 minutes. After the tactics session, we will go into a
room and run what we went over. This could be in a private room, public room, or in
a scrimmage.
When tactician / team leader talks, people stop - One person needs to speak at a
time. Otherwise, there`s too much confusion. Everyone will have time to give their
input, please hold your input until that time.
No random shooting or grenades, people should follow and see what`s happening -
This distracts everyone! You will be asked to leave immediately. If you don`t,
you will be booted from the room and will be removed from the competition squad and
places as a general member. You will need to earn your spot again.
