The Multiplayers’ Code of Honor
GENERAL
I will always behave in public game servers as I will behave in public.
I will never quit a match after it starts. When the match begins, I am committed to see its end, whether I am winning or losing. If I do not want to play with the other players in the session, I will leave before the match begins.
I will always learn about the other players around me, so I know if certain behavior or language is acceptable on open mics.
I will always learn how to play a game before I join a public online session. I will read instructions, play and defeat the offline campaign (when available,) or play online in a private session before joining a public session.
I will never start an “insult session.” I will never join in the berating of another player, but I will either end the insults or defend the offended player.
I will hold myself responsible for my defeat. I chose to play the game, therefore I chose to face the consequences of victory or defeat.
I understand that PING levels and LAG are a factor as uncontrollable as the weather and the tides of the ocean. I accept connection qualities as a factor in how people play, and I understand that connection issues can make a low-skilled player unstoppable as it can make a high-skilled player falter.
I will never complain about “Noob” tactics. There are no “Noob” tactics. There are only people who can not counter effective tactics.
I will never use a game fault or “glitch” in a public session - not even when my opponents use a glitch.
I will always respect the wishes of the host.
TEAM MATCHES
I will always put the team’s goals first. My personal goals will manage themselves as I help my team to victory.
I will share the resources provided in the game with my fellow teammates. I will not horde ammunition, power-ups, or vehicles for my own use. I will always offer fellow teammates a ride in vehicles that provide extra seats or gun turrets.
I will always help and advise my teammates when they ask for it.
I will never team-kill intentionally.
I will master every weapon and tool provided in the game, so I will be effective no matter what weapon or tool I am left to use.
I will respect the team commander. I will always ask others for a game plan before offering one of my own.
I will never end a session without informing all players involved.
I will never “Boot” a player because of his/her rank level or skill level.
I will “Boot” players if they disrupt a game and the majority of other players in the session request it.
I will use everything in my abilities to ensure a clean, even matched game - and to make it as lag-free as possible.
